Overview
CABO Yachts has made an unparalleled reputation for itself in the sportfishing community by combining ground breaking innovative design with a near fanatical commitment to quality. The CABO 45 Express is the next step forward for CABO; its larger size and luxurious accommodations are designed to provide sportfishermen who recognize the benefits of the CABO name with the world class sportfisher they deserve. The design of the Cabo 45 is truly bulletproof. From the fiberglassed and bronze throughbolted hull to deck joint to the custom all fiberglass construction of the fuel tanks, the CABO is designed to easily outlast even the harshest of conditions and cruise away unscathed. The CABO's performance at sea has been described as smooth and predictable, it tracks perfectly in seas that send many of its competitors heading for shore. With a maximum cruising range of well over 300 statute miles, top speed of 36.6 mph, and a cruising speed of nearly 30 mph, it's clear that size is in no way a compromise for performance. Their seaworthiness is outshined only by the CABO 45 Express's close quarters handling. Superb visibility astern and single lever electronic controls insure that maneuvering the 45 Express into its slip is effortless. Every wire and hose in the 45 Express is laid and labeled separately, with chafe protection at each bulkhead passage. The centerline fuel tanks are made of fiberglass for years of trouble free, corrosion-resistant service, and fuel lines are aircraft quality braided stainless steel for a long life. Many of our most intricate components, such as the removable fuel intake screens for first-line protection in distant ports, are invisible. But owners can feel safe knowing that CABO's design and construction integrity is second to none. |
