Yes, she's old, not fast, but she's simple and relatively easy to maintain, and a perfectly capable boat for protected waters. She was originally called a picnic boat for a reason and it is a function that she can still easily accomplish today.
She even won Best in Show at the last Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club boat show.
The current owners bought her in the Carolina's a couple of years ago and spent a fair amount of effort in her exterior brightwork and paint, the interior is still being refreshed.
The side valve, Hercules K-6 engine was also rebuilt in 2019 and runs particularly well. The double planked mahogany hull was also inspected and attended to while being prepared for paint.
