MAINSHIP 34 - TLC - WALKTHROUGH

AFTDECK:

The spacious aft deck offers room for 2 or 3 deck chairs and is protected from the sun and rain by a canvas awning. On the starboard side you will find shore power and telephone receptacles, and a washdown hose fitting. A BBQ grill is mounted on the stern with fender storage underneath. A deck shower is conveniently found next to the transom door which leads to the swim platform. A shore water receptacle and life sling are found on the port side. With the canvas panels up, the aft deck is open to the pilot house forward.

PILOT HOUSE:

Two steps up from the aft deck the pilot house is enclosed on three sides. Dropdown eisenglass/canvas panels close off the aft section of the space. There are bench seat/loungers on the port and starboard sides, with a carpeted deck between. Raised forward facing seats, with foot rests, are found in the forward section of the pilot house with the helm on the starboard side. Two large side windows and three forward windows provide for panoramic views. Two opening hatches and a hand hold are found overhead. Overhead lighting, complimented by courtesy lights at deck level, provide illumination in the evening.

SALON

Entering the salon four steps down from the pilot house a dinette, which converts to a double berth, is found to starboard, with the head and galley to port. The salon is appointed with a teak and holly sole and teak joinery. The U shaped dinette is large enough to seat 5 - 6 people around a large fiddled teak table. The galley features a countertop mounted double stainless steel sink, dual burner stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and paper towel/spice rack. Storage is provided by a cubby behind the sink and two storage lockers under the sink/countertop. A trash bin is cleverly tucked away under the stairs. Additional storage is provided under the dinette settees. The electrical panel and systems control panels are found on the aft bulkhead. The forward bulkhead features stereo speakers and a window with louvered shutters opening to the forward cabin. A flatscreen TV is mounted in the window. There is a storage rack under the window, behind the forward settee. A shelf runs behind the side and aft settees. There are three opening portlights and two overhead hatches, all with screens. In the evening light is provided by overhead lights and courtesy lights at deck level.

FORWARD CABIN:

The private forward cabin is entered through a door in the forward salon bulkhead. The cabin features a teak and holly sole and teak wainscoting and joinery. Shelving surrounds the v-berth (w/insert) which sleeps two. Stereo speakers and a flatscreen TV are found on the forward bulkhead. Two hanging lockers are found in the port and starboard aft corners of the cabin. Two drawers and a locker are mounted in the aft bulkhead. Additional storage is found under the v-berth. There are two opening portlights and an overhead hatch, all with screens. Lighting is provided by two reading lamps, overhead lights and a courtesy light at deck level.

HEAD:

Located at the aft port side of the salon, the wet head features a marine toilet, countertop mounted stainless steel sink and a shower wand with wall mount. A full length mirror is mounted next to the door with a half mirror mounted above the sink. A mirror faced storage locker is found above the head and countertop. Another locker with shelving and toilet paper holder is found at the aft bulkhead with a final locker located under the sink. There is one towel rack and a hand towel loop. Ventilation is provided by an overhead hatch and an opening portlight, both with screens.
