Sabre 38 Hardtop Express

Celeste

2006 • 38' (11.58 m) • Power

$388,000 USD

Celeste is not only well maintained (for instance... winter storage in a heated shed for the last 6 years), she also benefits enormously from being in only fresh water every season... and, thirdly, Celeste is updated/upgraded annually in large and small ways. The photos in this listing truly reflect the actual condition of the boat, which is extraordinary by any measure. Among her highlights are:

  • Flag Blue Awgripped hull (2015)
  • Optional engine upgrade to twin 440HP Yanmars
  • Onan 9KW generator
  • Reverse cycle air conditioning below and on helm deck
  • Optional queen island berth forward
  • 1-drawer Vitrifrigo fridge on helm deck, new counter top and new larger sink (2016)
  • 2-drawer Vitrifrigo fridge in galley (2016)
  • Stidd seat reuphostered (2018)
  • Helm L-settee lengthened and widened for greater comfort, and with beautiful cherry joinery added (2018)
  • New custom helm deck table with folding leafs to accommodate more guests (2016)
  • All wood trim in the helm deck has been stripped and revarnished (2018)
  • Optional transom folding seat reupholstered with customized wider backrest which also has added seat depth for more comfort. (2018)
  • Foldable custom cockpit table for dining and/or entertaining (2018)
  • Bimini with Makefast posts added (2018)
  • New cockpit cover (2018)
  • Teak decks very lightly sanded smooth and maintained every season
  • 400 watt solar panel (2019)
  • 4 New AGM Odyssey house batteries (2021) reconfigured for precise monitoring and access, and integrated with solar panels enabling days on the hook (see photo)
  • Exterior brightwork stripped and refinished w/6 coats of varnish (2021)
  • The boat has been in fresh water for 7 seasons.

The owners have clearly loved Celeste, and so enjoyed their times aboard. As a result, they now want to move to a larger boat and spend even more time away from the dock. While moving on is a sad occasion, they know she will offer her new owners a joyful experience on the water.

The boat is located in a lovely full service marina in the Thousand Islands, just across the US-Canadian border bridge at Watertown, just north of Syracuse, NY. Another route is about 2 hrs southwest of Montreal.
