OFF THE GRID is a 2015 Hatteras 45EX model with the upgraded blue hull sides and full tower ,control helm and electronics. The boat is powered with the upgraded C18 CAT engines rated at 1150 HP each. This power allows OFF THE GRID to cruise 34/35 knots and over 40+ knots top end. There is only 815 hrs on the engines that have been extremely well maintained with all services up to date and recent. A very solid rough water ride through Hatteras's resin infused hull and tunnel design that delivers great performance and and keeps the draft low at 4 ft for those Island cruises in the Bahamas.
OFF THE GRID has the single lever Palm Beach style controls with with Sidepower bow thruster for easy docking. There is a complete electronics Simrad package including (2) 16 inch monitors for plotter,bottom machine,radar vessel information along with 2 VHF radios, Fusion stereo remote simrad entry pad, auto pilot and Hatteras alarm system.
The boat is fishing rigged with cockpit rocket launcher, double spreader outriggers,cockpit live well,tackle drawers cockpit freezer ,fish boxes, and mezzanine seating and a transom door with top gate for bringing those large fish in or diving in your favorite spot.In the helm area there is the optional 3rd helm seat , overhead mounted teaser reels ,additional tackle drawers,ice maker and refrigerator. The helm area is fully enclosed and air conditioned. The helm area has excellent visibility through the one piece windshield .
Stepping down into the cabin area the galley is located to starboard and the salon / dinette is located to port. There is a frosted skylight above for plenty of natural light in the cabin area.
Galley is equipped with quartz counter tops, stainless steel sink, ceramic cooktop and microwave oven. In the salon area there is a L-shaped seated with starage blelow a table and 32 inch TV. There is also a KVH sat dome mounted on the tower buggy top.
Guest stateroom is located to the port with over/under bunks and storage cabinets. The master stateroom is located forward and features a queen size bed with innerspring mattress and cedar lined storage below.
The large head is located on the starboard side and includes sink ,vanity, electric head and large shower stall. There is a privacy door leading into the master stateroom and another door to the head entering from the salon for use as a day head.
The engine room is accessed by a hatch in the helm deck area. This area is painted and provides excellent access both forward and outboard of the engines for ease of service.
The generator is located aft in the engine room and is equipped with a sound shield.
The Hatteras 45 FT EX engineering, finish and performance is top of its class and OFF THE GRID has been kept to those standard by the current owner . The boat is ready to take you to your favorite cruise or fishing destination.
