This 2014 Tiara 5800 Sovran was the flagship of the Tiara line from 2007 to 2015. This is one of the last built; the USCG licensed owner/operator has serviced the vessel with an open checkbook. The list of enhancements included below is reflective of the attention to detail and desire to keep the vessel current in every way. The three stateroom layout provides comfortable accomodations for seven people. The large teak aft deck is elevated to enhance view amenity and has been enhanced with a removable canvas shade(shown in video). The wrap around luxurious seating to the stern surrounds a custom varnished teak dining table. The lower hydraulic swim deck includes chocks and has excellent storage via a large garage door. A 2019 Zodiac 12' RIB with 40 HP Yamaha outboard provides excellent tender support and expands the range of the vessel for snorkeling and exploring. The engine has less than 100 total hours on it. "Waters Edge" has been optimized and competently cruised by a crew of two. The efficiency and incredible handling provided by the current generation pod drives and the exceptional Garmin electronics suite contribute to a very manageable boat around docks, especially given its size.

Helm
The well positioned helm is elevated two steps above the salon level and affords the captain excellent visibility while cruising or docking. The instrument panel layout includes the Tiara proprietary digital switching screen, which provides finger touch control for the majority of yacht functions, within easy reach of anyone in or near the helm. The Volvo engine gauges are bright and within a stand alone 7" framed LCD Panel, reflecting all engine functions. Below that panel is the Seakeeper monitor, which provides all output and input information pertaining to control and monitoring of that unit and a Spectra Watermaker monitoring panel. Highlighting the Helm are the twin Garmin 8617 MSD units which are both networked to the marjority of yacht and engine functions. They provide excellent resolution for monitoring cameras and AIS information networked from a new AIS black box transponder. In addition, the Garmin OnDeck system has been added and included in the network, so remote security and monitoring functions can be carried out from any location via the app. Reportedly, Garmin is continuing to expand the functionality of their On Deck application. The Volvo throttle and joystick control is positioned alongside the captain's helm seat. The powered helm window provides the captain invaluable perspective for docking and communicating with crew or dock personnel when returning to the marina, anchoring and picking up a mooring ball.
