The engine rooms are impressive, stainless steel fuel lines, top-shelf Northstar AGM batteries, and loomed electrical runs. Each engine room has a single 1,015-mhp Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel on the centerline, a high-tech, lightweight, carbon-fiber jackshaft, and a power-takeoff pump at the rear of the marine transmission. The jackshafts couple each engine to a fully articulated ZF MiniRex surface-piercing drive. The power-takeoff unit energizes the onboard hydraulics, including a Lewmar windlass and thrusters. PTU driven hydraulics last MUCH longer and are more powerful and responsive than their electronically driven counterparts.

The engineer combined a mixture of technologies and equipment to create the innovative "airlift", hover-craft system. The airlift system is electronically and automatically controlled: The air blower pump takes four to seven percent of the engine?s power, seamlessly controlled such that when you press the throttles forward at 1,300 rpm, the fan starts to create pressure, and the boat begins to fly on a self created sheet of air...
