This 1944 Luders L24, measures 38 ft, and is located in Bristol, Rhode Island.

The Luders 24 is one of the many successful class boats built and designed by Bill Luders in Stamford CT. Originally designed for the Fishers Island Yacht Club for one-design racing for their junior sailors and instead of designing the prototypical "chunky little boat" they delivered a hull inspired by the meter boats of the International Rule. Constructed in their famous hot molded method, the hull is stable, stiff and strong but with the look and aesthetics loved by classic yacht enthusiasts. Built in 1944, Leaf has proven over and over again that she is a fast hull. Leaf has taken home hardware from all major classic regattas on the East Coast including: 1st in Class ‘22 Boothbay Classic Regatta, Overall Winner ‘22 Camden Classic, 1st in Class ’22 & ’23 Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta, and 1st in Class IYRS Classic Yacht Regatta. Leaf comes fully outfitted with a full set of Doyle sails (see full sail inventory below). She has a new sail covers in 2022 and a cabin/cockpit cover in 2023. Recent upgrades includes a new racing bottom by Guck Inc. (2023), custom sliding hatch (2023), folding Antal bow cleat (2022), custom jib lead adjustment system (2022) and Ronstan two speed self-tailing main sheet winch (2023).
